That new ranking, compiled by The Council for Community and Economic Research, includes 257 urban areas for the first quarter of 2019.You can see why this is the place to be with affordable housing and excellent career opportunities.
We have great healthcare and have recently opened Arkansas Children’s Hospital right here in Springdale. They could have gone anywhere but chose this location because of its’ convenience and growth in our community.
There are competitive job opportunities abound with so many major companies right here in our little piece of the world. JB Hunt, Walmart, and Tyson head-quarters are all locally started Companies and offer a multitude of options. The University of Arkansas is also located in Northwest Arkansas for career options as well as continuing education.
The City of Springdale has worked hard on revitalizing our downtown area. Attracting locally owned businesses to bring life back not only to downtown, but to support local business owners and our community. Walmart and Tyson have both invested in Springdale adding to the value of our city.
